On the eve of his final AFT Singles race, Estenson Racing’s Kolby Carlile heads into the Meadowlands Mile wanting to enjoy that moment. For sure there’s nothing more fun than winning, so it would be icing on the cake for the 2017 AFT Singles champ to take home his fourth win of the season on his Yamaha YZ450F.
Carlile also loves the Miles. His three wins this season have all come on the Mile tracks and he is hoping to carry the momentum from his recent win last weekend in Minnesota. But Carlile and his competitors are all going into the unknown at the American Flat Track season finale with an all-new venue: Meadowlands Racing and Entertainment in East Rutherford, New Jersey. So it is anyone’s guess as to who will end the night taking the checkered flag on the fast pea-gravel track. The “Flying Tomato” looks forward to the challenge.

“With the season not going how I wanted and only one race left, I just want to go out having fun at my last AFT Singles race. A race win would be awesome, as would tying for most race wins of the year. I enjoy the Miles a lot because it allows more time for strategy to come into play. This track surface will be quite a bit different from last week, but we are always up for a challenge.”
