Wells and Daniels Eager to Get Rolling on the Minnesota Mile

With a win to their credit already this season, Estenson Racing’s Ryan Wells and Dallas Daniels are hungry for more as American Flat Track heads into the penultimate round of the season at the Minnesota Mile on September 21.

Wells’ win came earlier this season at the So-Cal Half-Mile. He feels quite at home on the fast tracks, scoring three Mile and two Half-Mile wins en route to his 2016 title. The New Yorker wants to end the season on a high note and return to the top step of the podium on a Mile.

The rookie Daniels’ victory took place in his home state of Illinois last month at the legendary Peoria TT, just five races into his professional debut. He backed it up with another podium finish at the next round at the Springfield Short Track. The 16-year-old is eager to get back on a Mile track and try for another top result in 2019.

Ryan Wells – AFT Singles #94:

“I can’t wait to get to Minnesota and to get back on the Mile tracks to show what we’ve got. I’m looking to get my first Mile podium of the season or, better yet, a win. With there being two rounds of racing to go this season, I would love nothing more than to get another win for my team. I think we have done our homework and we are ready to rock ’n roll.”

Dallas Daniels – AFT Singles #163:

“I’m really excited to get back on a Mile. It’s our first one since Sacramento and only my second one of the season. We had bad luck at Sacramento, so we’re looking to have a good result this weekend in Minnesota.”

The Minnesota Mile will be streamed live, Saturday, September 21, on FansChoice.TV starting with practice at 12:30 a.m. ET, followed by AFT Singles Heats at 5:15 p.m. ET. Opening Ceremonies kick off at 6:00 p.m. ET with racing action resuming shortly after and the Main Events starting at 8:40 p.m. ET.

Catch the race on NBCSN, September 29 at 7:30 p.m. For tickets and additional information about the event: http://www.americanflattrack.com/events/ .
