Ryan Wells Looking to Stay in the Win Column This Weekend at Springfield TT

Fresh off of his first win with the Estenson Racing team, Ryan Wells is looking to keep the momentum rolling into round six of the American Flat Track AFT Singles Championship, Saturday, May 25, at the Springfield TT in Springfield, Illinois.

The win and perfect night at the So-Cal Half-Mile was a big boost for Wells and his team, and the 2016 AFT Singles Champion is hungry for more. With the Sacramento Mile postponed last weekend due to weather, Wells headed East to Kentucky and spent time training with the Owensboro crew and feels more prepared than ever going into this weekend.

As for Wells’ AFT Singles teammate Dallas Daniels, the wait for his professional debut at the Lima Half-Mile is nearly at an end as the 2018 AMA Grand National Rider of the Year turns 16 on June 19.

Ryan Wells – AFT Singles #94:

“I’m really excited for the Springfield TT. Last week I got to train at the Hayden compound – Sunset Downs – and ride with Jake Lewis, Nick McFadden, Roger (Hayden) and Tommy (Hayden), so I feel like I put the most work in that I’ve ever put in to be on top of my TT game. In the past I’ve had some good speed at Springfield. Hopefully this year we can put a full package together and get a good result.”

The Springfield TT will be streamed live, Saturday, May 25, on FansChoice.TV starting with practice at 5:00 p.m. ET, followed by Opening Ceremonies at 7:30 p.m. Heat races begin at 7:45 p.m. ET and the Main Event is at 11:05 p.m. ET.

Catch both the Springfield TT and Springfield Mile I on NBCSN, June 1 at 2:30 p.m. ET. For tickets and additional information about the event: http://www.americanflattrack.com/events.
