Estenson Racing’s Ryan Wells and Dallas Daniels look to score a debut TT win in American Flat Track’s AFT Singles class at the 73rd running of the Peoria TT on Saturday, August 17.
Wells has spent a lot of time this season training with his teammates and working on improving his TT game. Peoria Motorcycle Club’s TT track is one of those revered venues on the schedule and the New Yorker would love nothing more than for it to be the site of his first American Flat Track TT win.
The Peoria TT is also special for the team’s rookie Daniels. Growing up not far away from the iconic race track, Mattoon, Illinois, the 16-year-old is looking for a career-best result in just his fifth race in the professional ranks. The dirt track/road racer feels quite at home on a TT, and getting the win in his home state would be the cherry on top.Ryan Wells – AFT Singles #94:
“I’m always excited to head to Illinois heading for the Peoria TT National. I’m even more pumped going there this year hearing that they’ve changed the jump to be more similar to how it used to be, giving it more of the traditional Peoria feeling. I seem to fair pretty decent there, but haven’t been able to get a win at the Peoria TT so far. I’ve been on the podium there numerous years, so hopefully this year we can put the Estenson Yamaha up front and get that first TT win we have been chasing.”Dallas Daniels – AFT Singles #163:
“After our day at Sacramento, we are looking for redemption at Peoria. Peoria is my favorite track on the schedule. I’m really looking forward to the weekend and looking for a good result.”
