American Flat Track – July 18, 2025 | Wheatland, Missouri
Estenson Racing rolled into Lucas Oil Speedway with momentum and championship ambitions—and their riders delivered once again in both the SuperTwins and Singles classes.
Dallas Daniels Battles to Second in SuperTwins
Dallas Daniels proved once more why he’s a major contender in the Mission AFT SuperTwins Championship. After a less-than-ideal qualifying run placed him mid-pack, Daniels showed grit and precision during the main event. He methodically worked his way up through the field, locking into a tight low line that allowed him to surge forward in the closing laps.
By the time the checkered flag dropped, Daniels had clawed his way to second place—just 0.329 seconds behind the race winner. The performance not only showcased his resilience but also kept the championship battle alive. Daniels now sits just four points behind the current series leader.
Tom Drane Continues His Dominance in AFT Singles
In the AFT Singles division, Tom Drane continues to demonstrate that he’s the rider to beat in 2025. While he didn’t take the win at Wheatland, Drane was once again a front-runner and kept the pressure on throughout the race.
He entered the weekend riding the momentum of three consecutive wins, including a standout performance at DuQuoin earlier in July. Although he settled for a runner-up spot this time around, Drane still extended his lead in the championship standings thanks to consistent podium finishes.
Drane’s calculated aggression, smooth cornering, and smart racecraft have made him a fan favorite and a formidable force in the class. With each round, he tightens his grip on the title hunt.
Looking Ahead
Next up, Estenson Racing will head to the Jackpine Gypsies Short Track doubleheader in Sturgis on August 4–5. With both Daniels and Drane within striking distance of their respective championships, the stakes are rising fast—and Estenson Racing looks more than ready to meet the challenge.
